Thank you for visiting the Mariners' BATTALION NJROTC!  The Naval JROTC program was established by Congress in 1964 with over 620 programs today!  Pacifica High School's program started in 1996.  Our cadets compete in Athletic events, Brain Brawls (academic competitions), Cyberpatriot, Sea Perch, Marksmanship, Drone and Drill competitions.  Our cadets are offered field trips throughout the school year and participate in numerous community service events.
NJROTC is NOT a recruiting program for the military!!!!  Students who take NJROTC are NOT required to join the military.  We instill confidence, self-discipline, and patriotism.  We support our cadets and allow them to be in every activity on campus.  We have cadets that participate in every athletic team, band, ASB, drama, choir, and AVID.  We create a sense of belonging and have the best students on campus.
Our first priority is the safety of our cadets followed closely by their academic achievement.  We encourage our cadets to pursue a college education and being a cadet enhances their application.  NJROTC also is a great reference for employment after high school.  If a cadet does wish to enter military service, we ensure they are well prepared and know every option available.
Please come by and visit our program!
