Credit Recovery & Edgenuity
CREDIT RECOVERY
When students fail a course at the high school level, they have to make it up in order to receive credits toward high school graduation. These Credit Recovery courses are offered during the Semester after-school and allow students to earn credits they did not receive last year. We offer course selections based on student need. Students are contacted if they qualify for this opportunity.
Edgenuity
When a student earns a D in an A-G course, they must remediate the grade to a C or better in order to meet A-G requirements and maintain eligibility to apply to a 4-year college/university. The Edgenuity courses are offered during the school year after-school, to allow students to validate a course they earned a D in previously taken academic courses. Courses are taken on an online platform with the guidance of a credentialed teacher. Students are contacted by a counselor if they qualify for this opportunity.
