Tara Chapman received her BA in Liberal Studies and her English Language Arts Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton in 2012 and 2018, respectively. She taught English 1P, 2P, & 3P at Bolsa Grande, La Quinta, Rancho Alamitos, and Santiago High Schools in GGUSD before becoming Pacifica's Teacher Librarian in 2021. Currently, she is working toward her Teacher Librarian Credential and Masters in Library Information Science at San Jose State University.

In her free time, she loves to read YA Fantasy and Science Fiction. Watching anime, hand embroidering, and crocheting are some of her favorite pastimes.
