Hi! My name is Mrs. Hoyt, and I teach English 1P, English 3P, and Drama. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. I am excited to be part of your school year and look forward to getting to know each of you!

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be themselves while learning and growing. Whether we are analyzing a novel, improving our writing skills, or stepping onto the stage in Drama, I hope you find something in our class that you enjoy and feel proud of.

Most classwork, assignments, resources, and important information will be posted on Google Classroom for you to view and access. If you have any questions or need to reach me, I am available by email at [email protected]. Office hours are during tutorial and during lunch or after school by appointment. Please email me to make an appointment and allow up to 24 hours for a response.
