Hello, my name is Ms. Cassidy Contreras! I am so proud to say that this is my third year in GGUSD, and it feels so good to be back "home" at Pacifica. I began my student teaching experience here, under the guidance of Pacifica's incredible teachers, administration, and staff, and have the immense blessing to return as a full-time teacher.

 

I earned my Bachelor's degree in English from University of California, Irvine--where I studied English with an emphasis in teaching. During my time at UCI, I had the privilege of designing and teaching my own university-approved course under faculty advisement. From there, I continued growing my experience in education and instruction through the Single Subject Credential Program at California State University, Fullerton, which ultimately brought me to Pacifica as a student teacher, and, later, a member of faculty.
