Senior Portraits, Class of 2023

Hello Mariner parents and incoming seniors,

As hard as it is to believe, it is time to start thinking already about your SENIOR PORTRAITS! This is a big deal. You have worked so hard these past 12 years and now you get to sit down for some professional photographs for your family and friends to look back on years from now. Your formal portrait will be the picture that is placed in the school yearbook. Seniors do not take traditional school pictures like the underclassmen.

Here's what you need to do:

1.) Sign up for a time slot. Do this by going to, scrolling down and to the left to the Senior Pictures button, and choosing Pacifica High School.  We have the following four dates for you to choose from: July 26, July 27, August 13, and August 14. I will typically arrange for one make up day after the school year starts, if needed.

2.) Read the fine print! There you will see the following message. Read it!
   Do not change the time zone on your appointment. Book your preferred appointment time. Be aware that your email confirmation will send your confirmation as an east coast time. (Ex. You booked 1:00, your confirmation will show 4:00.) Just ignore this.
Your session includes your Cap and Gown Pose. All seniors will dress formally for their senior portraits. You may choose to either wear the provided black shawl/wrap that is placed over your shoulders, or wear the provided mock tux/suit. Come wearing light clothes that can be hidden under those options. For your cap and gown sittings, a blue mock gown (waist height) and blue cap will also be provided. Bring your own mirror and bobby pins if you wish. Finally, for your personality/informal portraits, you may choose to wear any school-appropriate outfit that reflects your personality and interest. Applicable props are also welcomed. Tasteful clothing choices are expected.

3.) Pay for your sitting fee. We have negotiated the cost down to only $20, which pays for the photographers' time, expertise, and materials.  If you are unable to pay for this, email me at [email protected] and request a fee waiver. I will arrange it for you. You will still sign up online, but just not pay it at check out.

4.) Plan your look. Depending on how many clothing changes and poses you decide to do, you may want to put some thought into what you want to wear. See the expectations above as well.

5.) Mark your calendars and show up! You don't want to miss your chosen time.  All photographs will conveniently be taken on campus in our school library, right off the Knott/Lampson main parking lot.
