Take/locate & describe a series of portrait style photographs including formal, candid, and environmental.

Assignment: Using Av (aperture priority) or M (manual) take/locate a series of photographs following the rules of formal, candid, and environmental portraiture. Take/locate photographs of people in various settings.  Take/locate one example of each portrait style and a favorite portrait, add these photos to your portfolio, and describe what makes each photo a good example of that particular portrait. Make sure to follow the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to ensure that your photographs are interesting, properly exposed, and follow the rule of thirds. Do not use flash or automatic shooting modes.

Use intense vivid color to create an emphasis in your photograph.
