Demand attention in your photographs using color and other principles such as; balance, movement, proportion, and contrast. Assignment: Create a color accent photograph. Using the supplied or your own “full color” photographs that you have already shot; select a color to emphasize, inverse your selection, and apply a black & white adjustment filter. Correctly adjust the lighting of a photograph using a brightness/contrast adjustment.

Assignment: Use an image-editing program adjust the lighting in a photograph that is more aesthetically pleasing. Following the steps below. When complete save your file as a PSD file, name it as your 'Firstname Lastname-Bring out Colors' in your google drive, and submit your PSD files to Google Classroom in the classwork tab.

Steps:
1.) Open https://www.photopea.com/ or Adobe Photoshop.

2.) Open the file below.

3.) Go to: Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast
Adjust the following: Brightness: 45, Contrast: 20

4.) Go to: Image > Adjustments > Vibrance
Adjust the following: Vibrance +40, Saturation +10.

5.) Save your file as a PSD file. 'Firstname Lastname-Bring out Colors'

Assignment: Use an image-editing program to correct the lighting by adjusting the black, white, and gray tones in a photograph so that it is more aesthetically pleasing. Following the tutorial on the following pages to practice using the Levels Adjustment correctly. Save all files to your Google Drive and add the PSD files to Google Classroom in the classwork tab.

Steps for assignment:
Step 1: Take or Find a minimum of 3 photographs that follow the rule of thirds.

Step 2: After taking or finding your photographs add the pictures to the assigned google slide presentation.

Step 3: Ensure you have the rule of thirds grid above your photograph

Step 4: Adjust the grid so that it takes up the entire photograph.

Photo Shoot Instructions:
Take a minimum of 4 pictures using your own camera using the shutter-priority & aperture-priority shooting modes.

Step 1: Using the aperture priority (Av) mode on your camera, focus on a single-subject, take 2 shots. One shot should use an aperture of f/3.5 and the other should use f/16.

Step 2: After that use the shutter priority (Tv) mode on your camera, focus on a fast moving subject, take 2 shots. One shot should have a shutter speed of 1/1000th second and the other should use 1/60th of a second.

Step 3: After you are done taking photographs upload them to your Google Drive.

Step 4: Place them on your Portfolio on the ‘Camera Operation’ page below the camera settings photo shoot.
