Welcome to my classes for the 2019-20 school year. As we continue with the changes and updates via construction on our campus, instruction in PE continues to be focused on lifetime fitness. Availability of facilities allows us to teach individual and team sports with an emphasis on social interaction. My classes follow the Six Pillars of Character in behavioral expectations.
Please review the forms available from the right column. I will be sending these forms home with students next week starting 9/2/19. All students MUST turn in:
1. Syllabus (signed, last page only)
2. Walking for Fitness form (signed)
Also available is the PE Makeup Report form (for excused absences or medical restrictions) as well as the School Participation Following Injury/Illness for the doctor. If for any reason, you need to contact me, please email me as I check my email frequently during the day. My office hours are during 6th period. I look forward to welcoming parents and students at Back to School night in October!
PS- Any homework assignments will be posted below.
UPDATED INFORMATION ON THE NEW TUTORIAL BELL SCHEDULE (1/7/19):
Students coming to my class for tutorial will be expected to be physically active during the time allotted. In lieu of writing an article for absence make ups, students may walk the track. Students making up a non-suit must run a mile. It is the student's responsibility to:
1. Sign up for tutorial
2. Show up prepared (dressed in PE attire)
3. Be ON TIME.
4. Understand that 'Tutorial' is NOT Study Hall time - it is ACTIVITY time.
5. If it rains on a Tutorial day, you will be required to read and write an article for review for make up.
