This is your final project for ERWC this year. Make sure to read through the materials thoroughly!

For you final project, you will be writing and presenting your own graduation speech. You will record yourself presenting your speech and submit that video to this post. You will also be submitting your speech to turninit.com

This assignment is worth 150 summative points and will be the last thing in the grade book for ERWC this year (read through the "2021 - Senior Final Project..." document to find detailed directions/requirements for this assignment).

Your final speech and video are due by Monday 6/7 at 12:15pm (Revised deadline so I can submit my list of senior fails)
After watching the second part of the film, answer the questions below in 2-3 sentences:

The cause of McCandless's death in the film version is slightly different than the book. In the book, McCandless dies from ingesting moldy seeds from the wild potato plant after diligently making sure they were not from the sweet pea plant. In the film, McCandless believes he collects seeds from the wild potato but realizes that he has been collecting them from the toxic sweet pea plant instead only after he starts to get sick.

Why might the director have chosen to make this change? Based on this change, how might a viewer characterize McCandless if they only watched the film version and had not read the book?
