Step 1: Using the line tool, draw a line that is the height of the SketchUp model.

Step 2: Dimension the height of that line.

Step 3: Over to the right side of the model and create a 1-inch, 6-inch, 1-foot, and 6-foot line.

Step 4: Dimension the length of each line.

Step 5: Using the rectangle tool draw a 1- inch square, 6-inch square, 1-foot square, and 6-foot square.

Step 6: Dimension both sides of each rectangle.

Step 7: Using the rectangle tool & push/pull tool create a 1- inch cube, 6-inch cube, 1-foot cube, and 6-foot cube.

Step 8: Dimension the height, width, and length of the cubes.

Step 9: Import a component of your choice.

Step 10: Dimension the largest height, width, and length of the imported component.
