STUDENT NOTES:

Scholarship Information & College Rep Visitations (details, applications and sign-ups are in the Guidance Office).

  1. All Sophmores interested in AP Language/Composition for next year need to attend the meeting on Monday, June 9th @ lunch in the C-Lyceum. The summer reading schedule will be explained at this meeting
  2. Seniors – The date you will receive your cap/gown & graduation tickets has been changed from June 11th to Thursday, June 12th. That’s correct – the new date for cap/gown distribution is Thursday, June 12th! Graduation tickets can be picked up from the Attendance windows after period 5 and after school. Cap & gowns can be picked up from the Cafeteria after period 5 and after school.
  3. Senior Finals - Friday, June 13th for periods 4,5,6 and Monday, June 16th for periods 0, 1, 2, 3.
  4. Baccalaureate will be held at the Crystal Cathedral on June 14th @1:00 p.m. (Seniors should arrive at noon.)
  5. Attention All Students – Yearbook sales are on June 12th not June 11th starting at 6:45 a.m. in the Bookstore.
  6. Attention all Seniors! You must clear all fines in order to receive your cap and gown! This includes Library, Bookstore and Athletic fines.
  7. AP US History Students - There will be a mandatory meeting for all students enrolled on Thursday, June 12th @ lunch in Room B-21.
  8. AP Test Refunds – If you signed up for an AP test and did not take the test, refunds are available until Wednesday, June 11th in the Guidance Office.
  9. Do you need something to read for finals? The library is having its annual magazine sale. Issues of Seventeen, Game Pro, Teen Vogue & more are available for only 25 cents!
  10. All Library books are now due. Please return your books as soon as possible.
  11. The Library will be closed to students on passes during the week of June 9th – June 13th.
  12. Summer Sports Registration forms are available in the Attendance Office. The deadline is Monday, June 16th.
  13. Pacifica Drumline wants you! Are you interested in joining the world famous, internationally renowned Drumline? Clinics are on Wednesdays after school in D2. Piano players are encouraged! No experience necessary.
  14. Attention Students – The summer ROP books are in the Guidance Office. See Mrs. Labko between 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to enroll.
  15. All Seniors and Juniors! Please remember that all parking in our lots is by permit only. Students may not park in the faculty parking lot or in any staff spaces and must park in a designated parking spot. Students parking without a permit will receive a Saturday School

The sight of people singing on the street is so quotidian in New York that passersby rarely react to it.
