Pacifica High School
History of Our Campus By Phi Tran, Class of 2007 - Information Technology/Web Assistant
Photographs and information provided by The Reef Yearbook staff
With its long list of achievements and outstanding academics, Pacifica High School is the home of the "Mariners" - students who travel through the seas of academics, athletics, and community service, and do so with the guidance of their teachers and staff at our campus. Our school's pride has been founded on these areas, and over forty years of excellence has certainly brought Pacifica to its highest reputation in the community and the world of academia.
Our school is part of the Garden Grove Unified School District in the city of Garden Grove. Located just a few minutes from the 22 and 405 freeways, we are part of a urban area that advances the knowledge of students and prepares them for college and the working world. Our school has graduated some of the finest athletes, businessmen and women, and innovators over the years. Pacifica's four-building campus hasn't always stayed the same throughout the years.
This comprehensive history section is a constant work-in-progress. Our Reef Yearbook staff has documented our history over the years and is helping with the transition to summarize key events and trends in our school history. Keep checking back as years are being added from the past and present.
